CURE
Fight poverty and restore dignity through the messages of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. Founded and run by Star Parker, the Center for Urban Renewal and Education is a non-profit think tank based in Washington, DC. Our mission is to fight poverty and restore dignity through the messages of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. Building awareness that a conservative agenda of traditional values, limited government and free markets is of the greatest marginal benefit to low-income Americans. Working in the media, on Capitol Hill and in poor communities to promote social policy that protects unborn life; and market-based public policy that transitions poor Americans from government dependency to economic independence.
